It started when 8-year-old Madison Robinson showed her father a sketch of squid-embellished, LED-illuminated flip-flops that reflected her love of swimming and fishing. Dad loved her Fish Flops idea and helped her develop and market the whimsical sandals and (later) slippers to small boutiques. Madison’s big break came when Nordstrom started stocking Fish Flops.
