Good Gosh! Get In on the Fun

The Great Outdoor Scavenger Hunt (GOSH) is back in full swing, and the response has been fantastic. Our annual statewide selfie scavenger hunt kicked off last month, inviting Texans to explore almost 50 locations across seven regions of Texas, including places for park lovers, history buffs, wildlife watchers and music fans.

Bonnie Bryant and her family (Instagram @bonnieandthebryants) got an early start, completing the West Texas region in record time. The family visited every GOSH 2022 location in the category, including three state parks (Balmorhea, Big Bend Ranch and Davis Mountains) the first week the scavenger hunt launched, which is a new GOSH record. Way to go, Bryant family!

Texas music fans (and those seeking some tunes to go along with your GOSH adventure) should check out our GOSH road trip playlist (available for Apple Music and Spotify). The playlist features more than eight hours of music, showcasing a multigenerational cross-genre sample of Texas musicians from the Arc Angels to ZZ Top, as well as songs about the Lone Star State.

It’s not too late to join the fun! Participation is easy: visit any of our 2022 scavenger hunt locations, snap a GOSH selfie and post it to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #GOSH2022.

Find a complete list of GOSH 2022 locations and selfie instructions, plus links to the GOSH playlists, at tpwmagazine.com/gosh2022. Or download our mobile app (available for iOS and Android) and take GOSH with you all summer long.
