WHERE IN TEXAS?

Each of this year’s Where in Texas? photos features a picnic shelter at a state park. Can you guess the park? Visitors enjoy this park’s miles of sand, sculpted by the wind into peaks and valleys. The park has water too, but not where you might expect it. Sometimes in life, you can’t see the forest for the trees; here, you must pay attention or you might miss the forest altogether.

If you recognize this site, send us a note at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744 (write “Where in Texas?” on the envelope); email us at magazine@tpwd.texas.gov; or let us know on Facebook. Feel free to tell us a story about your relationship with the location, too. We’ll reveal the answer in a future issue.
