Limpia Creek Vista

The highest point on an 11-mile trek, the bench at the top of this vista overlooks the entire park with views to the mountains beyond. Be sure to record your visit with not only a picture, but also a note left in the trail log that lives at the overlook.

Keesey Canyon Overlook

Partway along Skyline Drive Trail, this overlook can be accessed by hiking from the trailhead by the Interpretive Center or by driving along Skyline Drive. Enjoy gorgeous views of the canyon, with Indian Lodge nestled in the valley below.

Emory Oak Wildlife Viewing Area

Called the “fanciest little bird blind in Texas,” this viewing area was built in white stucco to match the park’s CCC-constructed buildings. Abundant plant life and intricate designs make it a great selfie spot, with or without creatures in the background.
