Where in Texas?

Each of this year's Where in Texas? photos features a different body of Texas' precious water. Can you guess the location? This location was once showered with debris from a nearby (and long-gone) volcano. The erosion of the soft volcanic rock from around the harder limestone led to the formation of cascading falls.

If you recognize this site, send us a note at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744 (write “Where in Texas?” on the envelope); email us at magazine@tpwd.texas.gov; or let us know on Facebook. Feel free to tell us a story about your relationship with the location, too. We'll reveal the answer in a future issue.
