Campsite reservations
gain new features
Want to camp this weekend? Texas state parks can help.
Sometimes, that first cool breeze of fall sets off the “got to go camping now” bells, but how can you quickly find an open reservation? It’s easier than ever.
At a glance, you can now see available tent/RV sites and lodging and make upcoming weekend reservations on the new Camping This Weekend tab at texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com.
If a popular park has no open campsites or lodging, click on Find Nearby Parks to access other state parks in that area to explore.
The reservation system has also been upgraded to allow park-goers to make same-day overnight camping reservations online or by calling the customer service center (before 4 p.m.). Previously, same-day reservations could only be made by contacting the park.
Reservations also can be made by calling (512) 389-8900 on weekdays during normal business hours. Overnight reservations are available up to five months in advance; day passes can be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
