Where in Texas?
Each of this year's Where in Texas? photos will feature a birding destination in Texas. Can you guess the location? These birders were visiting the newest Texas Parks and Wildlife Department property to open to the public. They were hoping to see birds such as the canyon wren and black-capped vireo and maybe even a tropical parula.
If you recognize this site, email us at magazine@tpwd.texas.gov; let us know on Facebook; or send us a note at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, TX 78744 (write “Where in Texas?” on the envelope). Feel free to tell us a story about your relationship with the location, too. We'll reveal the answer in a future issue.
