Q: I just purchased a subscription including the digital edition through the Texas Parks & Wildlife website. How do I begin receiving app issues?
A: If you have not yet downloaded the Texas Parks & Wildlife app from the App Stores, please do so. This is a free app download. Do not purchase anything else from within the app, as your subscription is already paid for. The first time you open the app after downloading, look for the "Library, menu (3 lines) or Sign In" tab on the top row navigation bar; on some devices, you may need to click on the Setting icon (the gear-looking icon) on the top right. Then:

  1. Press Account.
  1. Enter the e-mail address and password you set up when you ordered your subscription through the magazine subscription page and to "Log In".
  1. The current issue is displayed near the top left. when you first subscribe, then each subsequent issue will appear on your subscription as it is published. You can explore by topic by clicking on the prictures on the screen.

Q: How do I access new issues on my subscription?
A: New issues will download through the App stores. You will be notified when a new issue is available. When a new issue is delivered, you will see a pop up showing "Update Available." Click it to get the most recent content.

Q: How do I buy single copies of issues?
A: Single copies are available for sale only through iTunes. In the Past Issues link view, click on any unpurchased issue to bring up a single copy price, and follow the prompts to purchase with your Apple ID. At this time, no single copy sales are available directly from the publisher. Only annual subscriptions are available directly from the publisher.

Q: My issue is stuck at the “Processing” stage — what do I do?
A: This happens occasionally when the device interrupts the processing of the issue, or you have a slow connection. Typically restarting the app will resolve the issue. If not, you can always delete and reinstall the app. You will never have to pay again for something you’ve already purchased, as long as you’re on the same account. Upon reinstall, you’ll see a box asking if you wish to restore all purchases — press “Yes." If you purchased through our online order page, re-enter your email and password.

Q: I don’t see all the issues I’ve purchased.
A: First, make sure you’re signed in to the same account you used to purchase the issues. If so, hit the “Restore All Purchases” button on the upper right-hand corner of the Library tab. If this does not solve the problem, please contact us at (800) 937-9393.

Q: My app keeps crashing.
A: Try closing all running apps, including the magazine app. If that doesn’t work, you may need to reinstall the app or check for updates. Restarting your device may also be necessary.

Q: How can I share feedback with you about the app?
A: Please e-mail us at magazine@tpwd.texas.gov with your comments, insights and suggested improvements. While we can’t respond to every e-mail, we will be reading every comment and doing our best to address any concerns and ideas you have about our app. You may also rate the app from inside the App Stores.
