WHERE IN TEXAS?
An elevated walkway puts visitors at eye level with treetops at this national wildlife refuge, which sits at a biological junction where sabal palms, scrub brush, marshes and cactus can be found. More than 400 bird species have been observed here, including black-bellied whistling ducks and green jays.
