Keeping It Cool

Heather Averill captured a magical picture of her daughter dancing in the cool natural springs of Balmorhea State Park to win the third round of the Texas State Parks photo contest. Honorable mentions went to Ashley Kipp and April Blatchford. Quarterly winners receive a Texas State Parks Pass valued at $70 and a $100 H-E-B gift card. The fourth-round theme is “Fall in Love with Your Park.” Voting for the grand prize winner begins in December.
