Get ready to plug in your headphones because Better Outside, the official podcast of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, is back for a second season.
This season, hosts Morgan O’Hanlon, senior writer at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, and TPWD Executive Director David Yoskowitz return to cover exciting tales of conservation and outdoor adventure.
Each episode features a new story related to various topics that motivate Texans to build a better outside. From public lands to parasites, search and rescue to cactus-sniffing dogs, this season’s episodes continue to take listeners on an auditory expedition to meet the unique people, places and species that define the work of TPWD.
In season two, listeners will hear about especially timely topics, such as the acquisition of new Texas State Park properties and New World screwworm.
“Our TPWD staff deserve a podcast that celebrates the interesting and important work they do,” says O’Hanlon. “I hope fans of the show will have as much fun listening to these episodes as I had making them.”
Season two of Better Outside is sponsored by Minn Kota and Humminbird. Tune in on Apple Podcasts or Spotify to hear Better Outside’s second season (or to catch up on season one). All episodes, in addition to show notes and transcripts, are also available at betteroutside.com.
